Senator  Onyekachi Nwebonyi  (APC – Ebonyi South)  and a former Minister of Education, Mrs Oby Ezekwesili, on Tuesday, clashed in the Senate over alleged bias in the handling of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s sexual harassment allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct and Public Petitions later threw out Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s petition, saying the matter was already a subject of litigation. Seasoned actress  Ngozi Ezeonu  has faced backlash from fans after sharing tributes to late colleague, Nkechi Nweje. Ezeonu expressed shock and sorrow over Nweje’s passing, revealing she had no idea of her health struggles.   Former  Niger Delta agitator turned traditional ruler, Asari Dokubo, has reaffirmed his loyalty to president Bola Tinubu, stating that he cannot abandon him because Tinubu supported him during his darkest times  This comes months after Dokubo publicly accused Tinubu of betrayal following the 2023 elections. In a viral video, he claimed he had spent all the time, he lamented that the Tinubu he once knew had changed and even vowed to sever ties with the Yoruba people while seeking new alliance with the north  However, in recent video, Dokubo appeared to soften his stance, acknowledging that despite past grievance, he remains committed to Tinubu  "When you have a friend, it is difficult to part ways because you have to look back at yesterday," he said.   Operatives of Onipanu division of the Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 30_year_Yusuf, for old driver identified as Olayemi Yusuf, for allegedly abducting a female passenger. A 37_year_old woman, Linda Stephen, has filed for divorce at a kaduna Customary Court, citing her husband, Felix Stephen's excessive intimacy demands as the reason for her decision. Linda, who resides in Ungwan Sunday, Kaduna, told the court that their six_ year marriage had become unbearable due to her husband's relentless requests for intimacy. She also accused him of physical assaulting her whenever she refused. "I want this marriage to be dissolved because I can't cope with his excessive desires. He demands it too frequently, sometimes from midnight until early morning.
